June 30

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir. My clients and I caught three Master Angler Fish including two channel catfish at 34 and 32 inches, and a 25-inch wiper. We also caught good numbers of smaller wipers up to 22 inches, white bass up to 12 inches, walleyes up to 17 inches, channel catfish up to 27 inches, and a small northern pike. We caught these fish on a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, a 6-inch paddletail swim bait, and a Carolina rig using shiners around underwater humps and edges of creek channels in depths of 30 feet or less. The surface water temperature was in the upper 70s in the morning and in the low 80s by late afternoon.

June 29

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir and one of my clients caught two Master Angler fish including a 29.50-inch wiper and a 22-inch largemouth bass. My clients and I also caught good numbers of smaller wipers, white bass, walleyes up to 18 inches, channel catfish up to 27 inches, and crappies up to 12 inches. We caught these fish around underwater humps, edges of creek channels, main lake points, and next to the dam areas in depths of 30 feet or less. They were caught on a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, a 6-inch paddletail swim bait, and a Carolina rig using shiners. The surface water temperature is in the mid to upper 70s.

June 27

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir, and we caught two Master Angler wipers at 30.50 and 29 inches. My clients and I also caught good numbers of smaller wipers, walleyes, white bass, channel catfish up to 29 inches, and three nice crappies between 11 and 13 inches. We caught these fish on a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner and a Carolina rig using shiners around edges of creek channels and underwater humps in depths of 30 feet or less. The surface water temperature is in the mid 70s.

June 26

My two brothers and I went fishing at a private sand pit lake for a few hours this evening. We caught good numbers of largemouth bass up to 19 inches using a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, a plastic worm, a Zoom Horny Toad, a Mann's Hardnose Swim Toad, and an Original Rapala Floating Minnow (5 1/4-inch). The bass were caught around points and edges of weed beds.

June 25

I guided on Medicine Creek Reservoir (Harry Strunk lake). My clients and I caught walleyes up to 18 inches, white bass up to 13 inches, freshwater drum up to 18 inches, small perch, and a largemouth bass. We caught most of these fish on a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, and a few on a Carolina rig using shiners. They were caught around main lake points, edges of weed beds, underwater humps, and next to the dam areas.

June 24

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir and my clients and I caught two Master Angler wipers at 28 and 26 inches. We also caught smaller wipers, white bass, walleyes, channel catfish, a drum, and a nice crappie. We caught these fish on a Carolina rig using shiners, and a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner around underwater humps, and edges of creek channels in depths of 30 feet or less. The surface water temperature is in the mid 70s.

June 23

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir. My clients and I caught two Master Angler fish including a 28-inch wiper and a 33.50-inch channel catfish. We also caught good numbers of smaller wipers, walleyes, white bass, channel catfish, three smallmouth bass, and a largemouth bass. We caught these fish on a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, topwater plugs, and a Carolina rig using shiners. They were caught around underwater humps, edges of creek channels, main lake points, underwater roadbeds, mouths of coves, and along the dam. The surface water temperature is in the lower 70s.

June 22

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir and my clients and I caught six Master Angler fish including four wipers (two 28", 26", and 25") and two channel catfish (33" and 31"). We also caught smaller wipers, walleyes, white bass, and channel catfish. These fish were caught on a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, and a Carolina rig using shiners around underwater humps, and edges of creek channels in depth of 30 feet or less. The surface water temperature is in the lower 70s.

June 21

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir, and my client caught a nice 34-inch Master Angler channel catfish. We also caught good numbers of wipers between 14 and 22 inches, white bass up to 13 inches, and walleyes up to 18 inches. These fish were caught around underwater humps, edges of creek channels, and main lake points using a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, and a Carolina rig with shiners in depths of 25 feet or less. The surface water temperature is in the mid 70s.

June 18

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir. My clients caught four Master Angler channel catfish at 34, 32.50, 32, and 31 inches, plus smaller ones. We also caught good numbers of wipers between 12 and 20 inches, walleyes up to 18 inches, and white bass up to 12 inches. They were caught on a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, and a Carolina rig using shiners around main lake points, underwater road beds, underwater humps, and along the edges of creek channels in depths of 25 feet or less. The surface water temperature is in the 70s.

June 16, 17

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir both days. My clients and I caught good numbers of wipers between 15 and 22 inches, and one of my client caught a nice 26-inch Master Angler wiper. We also caught walleyes up to 17 inches, white bass up to 12 inches, and a few nice channel catfish up to 27 inches. We caught these fish around underwater humps, underwater road beds, main lake points, and edges of creek channels in depths of 25 feet or less. The fish were caught on a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, a ReelBait Flasher Jig with a shiner, and a Carolina rig using a shiner. The surface water temperature is in the lower 70s.

June 15

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir in the morning and at Swanson in the afternoon. I caught a 25-inch Master Angler wiper, and my clients and I caught smaller wiper up to 22 inches, white bass up to 13 inches, a few walleyes up to 17 inches, and a small channel catfish at about two pounds. We caught these fish on a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, a Cabela's Livin' Eye 6-inch paddletail, and a Carolina rig with live baits. They were caught around main lake points, underwater humps, and underwater road beds. The surface water temperature is in the mid 70s.

June 14

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir. My clients and I caught good numbers of wipers, walleyes, and white bass around main lake points, underwater humps, and edges of creek channels in depths of 20 feet or less. These fish were caught on a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, ReelBait Flasher Jig with live bait, and a Carolina rig using live bait. The surface water temperature is averaging in the mid 70s.

June 13

I took my brother Rod fishing at a private sand pit lake in the afternoon. We caught 13 nice largemouth bass between 18 and 20 inches, plus good numbers of smaller bass. We caught these fish on the 1/4- and 3/4-ounce Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, and a ReelBait Flasher Jig with a plastic worm. Most of these bass were caught in deep water next to points, edges of deep weed beds, and two of the nice bass were caught in the shallow water next to the shoreline weed beds using the Yum BuzzFrog.

June 12

I guided on Swanson Reservoir in the morning and Red Willow in the afternoon. My clients and I caught a mixed bags of wipers, walleyes, white bass, northern pike, four largemouth bass, a few channel catfish, and a crappie. We caught these fish on a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, a crankbait, a topwater plug, and a Carolina rig using a live shiner. They were caught around main lake points, humps, drop offs next to flats, underwater road beds, edges of channel channels, and in coves in depths of 20 feet or less. The surface water temperature is in the mid 70s.

June 11

My two brothers and I went fishing at two private sand pits in the afternoon. We caught good numbers of largemouth bass up to 19.50 inches, three walleyes between 18 and 23 inches, crappies between 9 and 16 inches, and bluegills up to 8 inches. We caught these fish using a 1/4- and 3/4-ounce Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, Zoom Horny Toad, Yum BuzzFrog, Rapala DT10 cranbait, and a jighead with Berkley Gulp! Crawler. They were caught around edges of weed beds, and drop offs next to points and flats.

June 9, 10

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir and my clients and I caught good numbers of walleyes, white bass, and wipers, plus a few northern pike and channel catfish. We caught these fish using a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, a ReelBait Flasher Jig with a shiner, and a Carolina rig using shiners around main lake points, underwater humps, road beds, and edges of creek channels in depths of 20 feet or less. The surface water temperature is in the mid 70s.

June 8

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir and my clients and I caught good numbers of walleyes between 13 and 20 inches, wipers up to 21 inches, white bass up to 12 inches, a few small northern pike, a crappie, channel catfish, and a 16-inch largemouth bass. The fish were caught around main lake points, underwater humps, s roadbed, drop offs next to flats, and along the edges of a creek channel. These fish were caught on a 3/4- and 1-ounce Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, a ReelBait Walleye Flasher Jig with a 4-inch paddletail, and a Carolina rig using shiners in depths of 20 feet or less. The surface water temperature is in the mid 70s.

June 6, 7

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir and my clients and I caught good numbers of walleyes up to 20 inches, white bass up to 13 inches, northern pike up to 22 inches, wipers up to 18 inches, a few channel catfish up to 5 pounds, a 12-inch largemouth bass, and a 11-inch smallmouth bass. We caught these fish using the 1/4-, 3/4-, and 1-ounce Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, a ReelBait Flasher Jig with a Berkley Gulp! Minnow Grub and 4-inch paddletail, and a Carolina rig using shiners and a Berkley Gulp! Minnow Grub. We caught these fish around main lake points, underwater humps, and edges of creek channels, drop offs next to flats, and next to the dam areas in depths of 20 feet or less. The surface water temperature is in the mid 70s.

June 5

I guided on Swanson Reservoir and I caught a nice 26-inch wiper on a 1/4-ounce Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner. My clients and I also caught good numbers of smaller wipers between 14 and 22 inches, walleyes between 12 and 22 inches, white bass up to 14 inches, freshwater drum up to 13 inches, a few small channel catfish, and a northern pike. We caught these fish around points, and along the roadbeds in depths of 10 feet or less using the 1/4, 3/4, and a 1-ounce Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, a ReelBait Walleye Flasher Jig with a Berkley Gulp! Crawler, and a Carolina Rig using Berkley Gulp! Minnow Grub and nightcrawler. The surface water temperature is in the lower 70s.

June 4

I guided on Red Willow Reservoir and my client caught a nice 25-inch Master Angler wiper. We also caught good numbers of walleyes, white bass, and smaller wipers. These fish were caught on a Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, a ReelBait Walleye Flasher Jig with a Berkley Gulp! Minnow Grub, and a Carolina rig using shiners around main lake points and underwater humps. The surface water temperature is in the 70s.

June 3

I took my friend from Colorado fishing at Red Willow Reservoir in the afternoon. We caught good numbers of walleyes, white bass, northern pikes, and a 25-inch channel catfish using a 3/4- and 1-ounce Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner. We caught these fish around main lake points, underwater humps, edges of creek channels, and mouths of coves. The surface water temperature is in the lower 70s.

June 1

I guided on Medicine Creek Reservoir (Harry Strunk Lake). We caught walleyes up to 17 inches, white bass up to 13 inches, small wiper, and a 15 -inch freshwater drum. We caught these fish on a 1/4- and 3/4-ounce Lytle's Secret Tail Spinner, and a ReelBait Walleye Flasher Jig with a Berkley Gulp! minnow Grub around main lake points next to the edges of weed beds. The surface water temperature is in the lower 70s.
