JANUARY - FEBRUARY 2006

February 27, 28

I went fishing at a private sandpit lake in the late afternoon. I caught good numbers of crappies between 10 and 12 inches around underwater brush piles next to a drop off. I caught them on a drop-shot rig with a Tiny Shad Assassin and a 1/16-ounce jig head with a 3-inch Berkley Power worm on the tag end of the line.
