October 26

My friend and I fished at Red Willow Reservoir in the afternoon. We caught good numbers of white bass up to 15 inches, and wipers between 15 and 18 inches around underwater humps, deep road beds, and near the dam areas in depths of 26 feet or less. I caught these fish on a ¾-oz. Silver Buddy bladebait, and a flutter spoon, and my friend caught his on a 1-oz. homemade jigging spoon. The surface water temperature is averaging around 48 degrees on the main lake.
