I guided on Red Willow Reservoir on all four days. My clients and I are catching good numbers of white bass up to 14 inches, wipers up to 23 inches, walleyes up to 24 inches, northern pike up to 34 inches, largemouth bass up to 18 inches, crappies up to 14 inches, channel catfish up to 28 inches, a few bluegills, flathead catfish, freshwater drums, and a yellow perch. We caught these fish around underwater humps, road beds, islands, edges of creek channels, flats next to deep water, main lake points, and near the dam areas in depths of 20 feet or less using a Carolina Rig with shiners, Lytle’s Secret Tail Spinner, ProMinnow Swimbaits, crankbaits, Silver Buddy Bladebait, and Flutter Spoons.
