I guided the same clients both days on Red Willow Reservoir and a 1/2 day on Swanson Reservoir. We caught good numbers of white bass up to 14 inches, walleyes up 26.5 inches, a Master Angler largemouth bass at 20.25 inches, plus smaller largemouth bass, wipers, crappies, channel catfish, northern pike, and freshwater drums. We caught these on a Carolina Rig with shiners, Lytle’s Secret Tail Spinners, ProMinnow Swimbaits, crankbaits, Silver Buddy Bladebait, and Flutter Spoons around underwater humps, islands, main lake points, road beds, edges of creek channels, flats next to deep water, and near the dam areas in depths of 24 feet or less. The surface water temperature was in the mid to upper 70s.
