I fished at Red Willow Reservoir in the afternoon. I caught good numbers of wipers between 15 and 23 inches, white bass up to 14 inches, 5 walleyes between 14 and 16 inches, and a few largemouth bass and freshwater drum. They were caught around main lake points, underwater humps, road beds, edges of a creek channel, and near the dam areas in depths of 28 feet or less using 1-, and 1 ½-oz. Lytle’s Secret tailspinners, 3-, 4-, and 5-inch flutter spoons, a homemade 1-oz jigging spoon, and a ¾-oz. Silver Buddy Bladebait. The surface water temperature is in the lower 70s.
