I guided on Red Willow Reservoir and my clients and I caught good numbers of wipers between 14 and 22 inches including a Master Angler wiper at 24 ½ inches, We also caught good numbers of white bass up to 14 inches, a 28-inch channel catfish, and a few walleyes around underwater humps, back in a deep cove, and near the dam areas in depths of 24 feet or less. These fish were caught on a Carolina rig with gizzard shad, 3-and 5-inch flutter spoons, and Lytle’s Secret tailspinners. The surface water temperature is in the lower 70s.
