I fished with my chiropractor at his sand pit lake lake in the afternoon. We caught largemouth bass up to 17 ½ inches on plastic worms (senko), and football jigs with plastic craws around edges of weed beds, points, and brush piles. In the early evening, I fished at another private sand pit lake for a few hours and caught good numbers of largemouth bass between 14 and 19 inches on a Prominnow swimbait around points and edges of deep weed beds in depths of 20 feet or less.
