I took a friend fishing at Red Willow Reservoir in the afternoon. I caught two Master Angler fish including a 37-inch flathead catfish and a 24-inch wiper. My friend and I also caught smaller wipers between 15 and 22 inches, and white bass up to 14 inches. We caught these fish around underwater humps, main lake points, and near the dam areas in depths of 24 feet or less using Lytle’s Secret tailspinners, 3- and 5-inch flutter spoons, and 1-oz. jigging spoons. The surface water temperature was in the mid 70s.
