My brother Tim and I fished at four different sand pit lakes on both days. We caught good numbers of largemouth bass up to 19 3/4 inches using football jig with plastic trailers, deep diver crankbaits, ProMinnow Swimbaits, 5″ Flutter Spoon, and plastic worms. These bass were caught underwater brush piles, deep points, edges of flats next to deep water, and edges of deep weed beds in depths of 25 feet or less.
