My brother Tim, a friend, and I went ice fishing at Swanson Reservoir. We caught good numbers of white bass up to 16 inches, wipers between 18 and 22 inches, crappies up to 15 inches, and a few yellow perch and channel catfish. We caught these fish along the two ridges near the dam areas in depths of 34 feet or less using 1/4- and 3/4 oz. Lytles Secret Tailspinners, Reelbait Flasher Jig with Berkley Gulp! Alive! 3-inch minnow, and jigging spoons. The ice is averaging around 13 inches thick.
