January 3 and 4, 2010

My brother Tim, friends, and I went ice fishing at Swanson Reservoir in the afternoon. We caught good numbers of crappies up to 14 inches, white bass up to 16 inches, wipers up to 23 inches, and a few nice walleyes and channel catfish. We caught these fish along the ridges next to the dam areas in depths of 34 feet or less using Lytle’s Secret Tail Spinners and jigging spoons. The ice is averaging around 11 inches thick.
