I took my son Jeremy ice fishing at Swanson Reservoir in the afternoon. We caught good numbers of nice yellow perch, wipers, white bass, walleyes, crappies, and a few channel catfish and freshwater drum. We caught these fish on Lytle’s Secret Tailspinners and jigging spoons along a ridge next to the dam areas in depths of 34 feet or less. The ice thickness is averaging between 9 and 10 inches.
