I took my brother Tim and a friend ice fishing at Red Willow Reservoir. We caught good numbers of white bass up to 15 inches, wipers up to 22 inches, walleyes up to 15 inches, and a 6 lb. channel catfish. We caught these fish on Lytle’s Secret Tailspinners, a jigging Rapala, and small jigging spoons along the edges of a creek channel in depths between 18 and 26 feet. The ice thickness is averaging between 4 and 5 inches.
