My brother Tim and I fished at a private sand pit lake (open water) in the afternoon for a few hours. We caught good numbers of bluegills up to 9 inches, and crappies up to 13 inches on small jighead with Berkley Gulp! 1″ Minnow around an underwater brush piles in depths of 24 feet or less.
