August 4 and 5, 2010

I guided both days on Red Willow Reservoir. My clients and I are catching nice wipers, walleyes, northern pikes, and a big flathead catfish. We are also catching good numbers of white bass, smalller wipers, crappies, a few channel catfish, freshwater drums, and nice bluegills. These fish were caught on a Carolina Rig with gizzard shad, ProMinnow Swimbaits, Lytle’s Secret Tail Spinners, Flutter Spoon, deep diver crankbait, and Silver Buddy Bladebait around underwater humps, islands, main lake points, edges of creek channels, flats next to deep water, underwater road beds, and near the dam areas in depths of 20 feet or less.
