I fished at a private sand pit lake in the late afternoon for a few hours and caught largemouth bass between 8 and 14 inches, and an 18-inch walleye. These fish were caught around deep points, edges of deep flats, underwater brush piles, and deep weed beds using a 1/16-oz. Marabou Jig. The water clarity in this sand pit lake is very clear with a visibility of 10 feet or more.
